Countryside Rendezvous

As the title reads, I took a breather from the prevalent crossroads struggle of " the Virtual Alter Ego Has Landed ", ya the issue isn't sorted out yet not to mention additional dramas now , and went on a Day-Trip to Kampar on Tuesday.

Ok, well i got back to postin another entry sooner than i actuali thought and like Carly said bout all the supposingly *hype* surroundin this blog of mine now from frens, im startin to believe i myself is caught up in the hype too aha. Hence but leadin me back to this very blog.
Rewindin to a couple of days back, i apparently suggested the idea of havin this Day-Trip to Kampar to my mates
Ck and Ben whilst havin our yumcha' routine at one of the nearer coffeeshops at IpohGardenSouth . I opinionated to look for our friends and ex-high skool mates whom had just started their studyin at both KTAR and UTAR at the same time grabbing a bite or two at some of the allegedly more than a litlle well-known food over there. The whole purpose was to at least have sumthin to do as myself and Ck has been doin nothin but sittin the day away with our asses at home, ok mayb not Ck. I dun know. They sounded to da idea and Ck eventually tried to tag GuoJian along but eventually, of coz, GJ will then ditch us after tellin us he might go. That happened. Oh and Ben pulled off too.

no , this is not Ck's car .
Kampar, or *Kam Pou* , its derivation from the cantonese words meanin 'Precious Gold' also refers to the previous large tin mining industry back then. Approximately 45 mins drive away from Ipoh. I rememberd Kerry sayin its about 45 mins drivin from Teluk Intan too? Well Ck drove to my house at 9 .30 in the mornin dat day n took me for breakfast at stadium at the same time bumpin into Keith Foo and Vincent Chong b4 drivin off to Kampar.
We reached. Then met up wif Mango, whom was as expected had only awaken to our fone call.Had this famous fishball noodle sumwhere at town and met up wif Victor there. Later on Victor would take us to his place where we would then sighted a sight. A Sight. Picturesque.
Good thing is, apparently our friend Victor isnt stayin at this Jln *SEKS ..sumthin(figure the symbol out)... /7 but Jln Seksyen /[sum number] which is a couple of row behind aha. Btw, the houses there in the hood are of 3 storey concept jus like those in kl near cheras where u hav diff tenants and occupants for different floors. He stays at 3rd floor and we then met up wif his floormates/housemates/roommates , Tze Hoe, Vil Sern, Yamamoto , our very own SMI juniors lol.

Soon, 4 of us took Victor's ride to UTAR . The campus is located rather near to Victor's place , which is stil a new neighbourhood conjested wif students as occupants mostly. As matter of the vicinity fact, LOADS of the students there actuali cycle to the campus as so to say. Mistake, I and the fellas shudve taken a picture or two of the beeline of students cyclin back n forth to campus. The security at the entrance is quite strict so me and Ck borrowed Student ID's(all the students wear it wif a string over the neck at skool) from Vil Sern & co.
Mango, as always like a written script, turned out to be our liabilty (can sumone tell me sumthin i do not know?!?) as he was wearin slippers and shorts both which are not allowed in campus but luckily we got thru nevertheless the fact he was sheepish and feelin awkward all the time we were there , tryin to walk behind us and playin hide at our backs so that lecturers and students alike would not notice the tiny him -.-". The campus is reali LARGE coupled with lands still with green, grass , nature stuff etc aroun with a lake by the side oh and it was actuali a bridge leadin the way to the main entrance. Funny, but this bridge path flashes picture of that certain Putrajaya in my head. Haha and theres quite a number of Bangau Birds flyin aroun which abodes the lakeside which is the main entrance and got me wonderin these lot who cycles by there everytime ever got their heads pecked or let alone ride by reali fast everytime they're there.

The place's and the buildings are sumthin of amusive coz its reali new and big and modern-looking. Gotta admit, i dun know how to describe the place and i lacked essential pictures, so the following below :

  1. all the bridge ,lake, green here n there co-existin wif the large concrete structures and most importantly ppl cycling aroun gives me a tot of this place = movies of Korean / Japanese scenic romantic serene peaceful places.

  2. Modern ,reali Sleek lookin campus buildings = AIMST & University Technolog Petronas and that weapon engineerin building in "IRON-MAN".

    cafeteria beside the lake

football field , tennis and badminton courts at the sides

Considerin i was reali cash strapped on that day, Kampar made a decent trip as i had merely spent RM6 there excludin fuel money. Talk bout dirt cheap food.

This post serves as an clarion call indicating that "Play It Again Daddy " and " the Virtual Alter Ego Has Landed " aren't my final posts .
