I realised there are one too many unhappy entries in my blog lately.

yet on second thought, I guess there aren too many things to b cheered bout at the same time too. Lost one of my favourite shirts. Exams aroun the corner n Im stil not upped on da next gear yet. Social life hittin a rock and then goin haywire wildfire next. And technically speakin alone for bout wat seems to be a month. haha. wat am I tokin bout.

Anyway, a thing to note here.

now my entries titles...

right, they r literally nothin correlative to the posts itself most of the time. Its just dat thing dats happenin durin dat hour/minute/day or so happen that a song is playin at da background that moment or well, some phrases I came across that day itself which I findd particularly catchy n then one of these will somewhat be the title of the entries.

I know, at times myself lookin at my archive Id naturally get a strange feeling/bemused too by goin thru my entries n lookin at em with strange unrelated titles aha.

But, though, not all of the titles r really came up dat way. There are some that I really named them accordingly to the the posts I wrote.

I guess this one 'Common Jasmine Orange' should ring a bell in some of the chinese songs lover head out there : )

Also, wanna wish Ben's mother all the best wishes n good luck on her new business. Will frequent your cafe as much as I can, promise.

Im currently listenin to "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus.
Ya I dun like her music seriously but this ones good.

You'll suddenly hav a new appreciation of Miley Cyrus. Trust me.
Her voice if u listen attentively in this version. You'd realise shes actuali a country genre material.

Have you ever listened to a joke so old so many times, you don't find it funny again and you dont remember it being funny anymore? Then come one day, you hear it all over again and then suddenly you remember da familiar feelings of the initial fresh funny moment of the joke again. And then you fall for da joke all over again?

Just like your 1st kiss, try as hard as u may u find it near impossible to relive the feelings thatve nabbed your senses when u 1st had ur first real kiss.

Just wanna pen down a couple of things here that took place today.

. 1st thing Im gonna say sorry to WenHan for not joinin you guys for futsal today.
I jz thought I have to study but hah, end up it wasn a very fruitful day for studyin either. Though my guilty conscience wouldve eaten me up if Id gone for futsal anyhow.

. and then one of my lecturers called me in d evenin when I was in my room to ask for my favour in the form of accompanyin her back to the skools office to get sum stuff...she was worried to go it alone coz it was late. zzz. oh well. Gimme an A come this summer.

. And em, after hearin your story Lyie, I guess it wasn like wat I tot of your relationship as all rosy n peachy. Everyones got skeletons in their closet right. But u know wat, I hope things will get better for u guys and you gotta have faith. I know uve been thinkin dat u could relate to my current plight but trust me, your better and it will be alright for u okay.
Dun sweat it girl.

. B4 I finish this entry,
wanna say here that all my thoughts are with the family of my skool's mamak uncle's family.
I didn get to know wat had happened until dinner just now thru a maintenance guy.
He passed away about days ago.
I dun feel their pain but I know how it is like for them now. Except for the wife and parents of coz. It will be too much for them to bear.
My condolences.

It juz gets to us that as colourful as a human's life can be in a lifetime,
in between the lines of these colours you get shades of grey and black every here n there.


Well,
we will wait for salvation.

Gambit Must Be A Gypsy In Disguise

Was with Tasmia and Lyie during our lms lecture few days ago.

so the class was havin its break at the hour mark and Lyie took the trouble in attempt to impress us and the fellas aroun our seats with her this lil' trick shes got up her sleeve.

Cards trick that is.

Now apparently some of the guys infront brought a deck of cards to the class.

thats how the cards came about.
so yeah... lets see what have she got in store for us heh

She priolly thinks shes lyiana blaine or sumthin. she just looks alot like Lana Lang okay

haha

so lyie went on to:

1. shuffle da cards
   
2. took away bout a quarter/half of the cards away from the deck


3. offer me the other half to me and instructed me to pick the top card (they are all lyin facedown)


4. asks me to remember the card


5. places it back on top of the cards again.


6. she shuffles all of them together in one again.


7. now at this point shes takin card by card away from the deck and onto da table.the exact number of cards shes takin im not sure but i think she has already calculated the required amount to go back to the card i picked jz now.


8. n then she takes her final card away from the deck and shows it to me, tells me it was da card I had in my hand earlier . Yes it was.
   
   

Haha and so she repeated dat a couple of times on me n being unimpressed by it.I tried to act macho n requested for da cards. The mr smarty-pants me intend to pull one off myself instead.

I askd tasmia to be my guest, I did exactly da same steps as lyie did but the catch was, to begin with, I didn even know wats da trick bhind or wats da calculation or math bhind it.
I jz duly obliged n followed the steps that I saw for myself .
It was all just a joke im tryin to put me n my friends in.

Doin the last part of da trick, whereby I only simply took a number of cards away from the deck I dun even rem how many cards I took.
then finally i picked my last card from the deck n showed it to tash n askd her

* this is your card tash?* (bear in mind I dunknow wat card she picked out jus nw)

she then nodded her head.

Hmmm

I tot she was playin the fool on me.
I askd again if it was her card.

she nods her head again n then I took a look at lyie feelin bewildered.

I said to tash im serious is this your card n she got annoyed by da repeated questioning, again she sed but this time a firm yes.

Lyie looks at me again with a flabbergasted expression.

All My Flaws To See

Carly gave me Caitlin Crosby's Stil Have My Heart about 2 months ago.



It was a new song from a fresh emergin artist and I duly have to thank Carly for that, not a cult hit, but was quite an addictive one that got me hooked to it for at least a week maybe aha.
After watchin that video I started to take a liking towards the song and of coz to say the least, da video was funny and funky too.


Then, Caitlin Crosby caught me eye undoubtedly.
So I went googlin for her and eventually landed myself on her Myspace's.

Then from there I browsed thru her playlists and found out majority of the peeps hanging out at her page were claimin and confessin their love for her this particular song.

Flawz.


its got about tens of thousands of hits to it already, so I jz did what I wouldve been ought to do naturally by tryin to have a listen.

and after that I jz couldn stop repeatin that song on the playlist for the night and ya duhh I was totally hooked on to it literally. The nex mornin I got up n refresh the page the nex thing I found out was that the playlist was gone n apparently Caitlin herself or the page moderator updated her playlist with a bunch of newer songs n a newer version of Flawz.

It sounded way out of the former's tune and it didn ring well in my ears.

I tried searchin for da originals one on dat page and alot of other places on da net as well but I didn get it back for awhile. Cant reali blame it coz both the song n the artiste is not as famous as I want them to b yet so da most I could get was da live versions of it in youtube. zzz. neh. not da same.

And Carly, umpteen times I asked her for a copy of dat song she says each time, the song is in her hometowns pc and she doesn hav it n would go on to not rememberin to put it in her another computer for the nex few times she got home.
Arghhh


Well then, eventually I got to find a couple more versions of Flawz. All different.
Bout 2 or 3 versions alltogether I think.
After sumtime not listenin to da original one I now couldn make out which was the one that I initially wanted.
Good grief.


For wat its worth,
I think I ve come to a conclusion that this shud be da one.
Its a nice song I reckon
Hopefully it'll have me accompanied in my Ipod and not gettin bored of it for the comin weeks at least.

(now, I get da notion that Im doin the publicity part for Caitlin Crosby. so do I get my cut?)



And yes, Im not checkin the lyrics just yet.
