Kick It

CAUTION!! / ACTHBUNG BABY!! :

  • Following post strongly advised for football fan readers only.
  • Not recommended for readers such as i.e :MunBen

A round of applause,
Standing ovation,
Take a bow.

for Premier League is home!

Since it would b clear dat all my frens would blog on the latest outing at MV,I shall write somethin else for a bit?

The new season kicked off last saturday evening and God bless Liverpool amen, scraped out a win out of that tedious boring long ball game against Sunderland thx to the same hero time and time again, Fernando Jose' Torres Sanz.

Credit where credits due.

Prayin hard this could be the season Liv' wins the League. Didn know he's muslim though?

I was watchin da game that night at Asia Cafe with Thhoe and his fren, erm named CK too lol. Hopefully by end of the week Liverpool will land Gareth Barry the deal then I believe with his versatility and stability we could play passing football than the too often pause stop think n pass game.

On the other hand, MU had an off-day by drawing with Newcastle which is a good result (07/08 season's dejavu'?) This is kinda a resemblance to MU's last season's start whereby they had a run of 3 winless games by havin Rooney injured and Ronaldo red carded as to now they're havin ronaldo injured and rooney erm "impotent" but then eventually came back in stride strongly and went on to win da league. I dunwant that to repeat. TBH.

However, Chelsea gave Porstmouth some spankin football lesson with a 4-0 scoreline..damn it Felipe Scolari. Not a good sign for Liverpool lol.

Inevitably,Ill b lookin forward to Sept 13 for that certain Liverpool-Manchester United clash. If we win, then Liv' will have a serious shout at this season's campaign. Even Jose "Moan-inho" spoke his mind that this could be Liv's year! Aha.

Some may ask why I chose to be a Liverpool's supporter.

My 2 cents r that fans DONT CHOOSE to be a fan but we INHERIT it a way somewhat odd. Mine, particularly, was because my Dad gave me my 1st football jersey won by bottlin down loads of Carlsberg (lol) which is a Liverpool one years back albeit he was a MU fan literally.lol. Or like Keijoe's case he followed Mike Cheah to watched his 1st real football game on tv which was an Arsenal's thus went on to support them.

<= 1st own bought ori Jersey

1st Liverpool Jersey ==>

Kwok Wei voiced there are alot of fake MU fans whom are "glory hunters" just supportin for da sake of supportin when they are winning and go missin w/o hearin anythin from them when the club's losin and then u find out they're elsewhere shoutin screamin another's club's name. Ironic. I couldnt agree more on that theory. Coz I know better. Carly, too. haha.

Elsewhere,non-football related,

Gloom clouded the skies last night as Lee Chong Wei ended Malaysia's mission/obsession/infatuation for a 1st Olympic Gold with a lost in the Men's Singles final.Arghh.

Blew the chance to be the 1st instant sports millionaire here! 1million rinngit and the inevitable Datuk' ship.

Lastly, somethin I reaped out of Kee Fei's pool of philosophy.

"WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO WOMEN-KIND, FOOTBALL IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING IN THE WORLD"

p/s: who do u guys think will win the league this season?

Don't Forget To Remember

So far,

It has never occured to me to reali talk this particular incident to anybody any friend any one literally.

The sudden urge, along with all the flow of adrenaline rush nabbing the senses of mind together got the better of me to recall and to in a way immortalize this memory into a memento by ironically, penning it all down in a virtual diary of mine, than to convey it verbally to one.

I know a lot of stories start this same way with the authors saying I've only told this person or this other person, probably for the sole reason of being ridiculed. Maybe I don't tell it for this reason, but I feel it is more because of the curiousity and the questioning of the unexplained that it stirs in me stil when I ponder the event.

Or rather, for the fear of I'd actually embarassingly missed out on the press or the news concernin the event Ive encountered , with everyone else knowin the true fact but me.and Therefore, nvr had I discuss this wif anyone else.

I'll start my encounter now :

No different from any other weekdays, I was on my daily routine - rise early, get prepared for school. It was stil the days of 2ndary schooling, some where in btween Form 4 or 5.So this experience goes some 3, 4 years back.

Dawn was breakin into the day, and the clock would be pointin at about 5.55 am on my wristwatch.Yes, the sky was stil dark, the sun was yet to rise and like the sayin goes, the night is darkest before dawn.

And so, I boarded on my school bus (How r u Uncle Joseph). Every mornin, I would always be the 2nd kid my bus driver Joseph would pick up right after Derek Khoo from Westpool Park.
The atmosphere would b dead quiet inside the bus and Derek and I would stil usually be half awake half asleep. Just 3 of us, no one would mutter a word in that big raunchy orange bus.

Then, came the moment. The bus was well on its way to Wah Keong Park. As my heavy puffy eyes blink thru the same daily slideshow of sightseeing off the same endless journey to school, a sudden flash of blinding green light blankets the sky !
A few more flashes would follow. And the black sky consequently turned into green which vividly reminds me of the gamma waves radiates off the Hulk. Everythin in sight would be in green !

No sound, albeit I was anticipatin a similiar clamourin sound of thunder which would follow suit right after the flash of lights though. Only silence was heard. It was just like an old mute b&w film roll-played.

All the peculiar change in a matter of mere seconds. It lasted for about a minute or 2. Gradually the sky colours itself back to the dawn sky. By now, I was wide awake.

No one spoke a word. I guess we were stil tryin to digest the inexplicable happenin. Joseph was stil drivin and pickin up the rest along the way to school.

Neither have I spoken to Derek about it somehow. As odd as it sounds, I just seem to shrugged it off and think nothin of it really and got on with my day. Til today.

I have tried to remember all the details to give a good perspective of what I encountered. By writing this down also carries a hope in expectation mayb some one would shed some "green light" (not that green light) on me and enlighten me better still if they had witnessed the same occurance on that fateful morning.

Perhaps it was the purely the act of nature, or the Law of Physics can get me fathom further.A blow from a nuclear reactor breakdown? Alien invasion ?
( cant help it but this reminds me strongly on the urban legend of the aliens that resides among us and UFO crash that is hidden by the US military as a secret that is ROSWELL which had really taken place in Roswell, New Mexico, USA.)

Or mayb it was just me n my sleepy imaginary head(tell me Im silly) on that sleepy morning.

Nevertheless, Ill b the first to admit it was a spectacular viewing all the same and an experience one will find difficult to forget.

Gimme a clue,
Be my guest.

Don't X-files me.

Back to Bedlam

First off,

There's been a temporary hiatus of about 2 weeks here as I was away at Muar and then at Bukit Tinggi up for some reali short noticed but inevitable work.

Hereby am back home, hence an update beckons...

On the Muar part,
I was due my 2nd anniversary with dutchlady which falls on the 25th of July, happens to share the same fateful date with my fren Ck's birthday as well. Went down south on the 24th to give her a surprise visit coz I didn acknowledge her on my visit at the 1st place. Spent some quality time there except for being a driver/chaffeur for dearie uncle auntie and herself for most part whereby she cudn manage a manual car of her own aha. Spared here are the details of our more intimate goings of course : )

Another notable point is that she's so into (made me too)
the PATAPON game on my psp that she was preoccupied with it most of the time. So i left the psp for her when i left after the weekend there since she was havin so much fun like a child you know, cudn bear the picture of takin it away from her haha. Albeit, I got the long face silent treatment from my younger bro back home for he was also expecting to play his Crisis Core, damn.

Followin on
I would receive a call from Pris askin me to help out on her bro, Perryman's work as the event organiser for CIMB's corporate trip for the staff's at Bukit Tinggi. They were in dire need of manpower and ushers during the weekend there so I nodded to it along wif her. The work wasn difficult and as a matter of fact, being totally frank, it was apparently more so a vacation there so to say. Well this was what indeed Perry told initially that it would be half vacation 50 work.

Easist money, ever.
Well actually, with all due respect, apart from the unprepared night trekking in the hills jungle for over 2 hours on the 1st night of Hungry Ghost Festival Month ? Haha not that i reali bother bout that realli as Ive done the real thing in NS but its , again, no disrespect, its the fellow trekkers you journeyed into the woods along with that pains your ass simply because there was talkative middle age women and incapable invalid older male counterparts in the agenda...slowed down a walk that couldve been finished in what a mere hour I suppose. Moreover, I had to be the last one in line all the journey the whole night to "Usher" them.

There's much more to the Bukit Tinggi experience to be talked bout here reali, however I'll leave those all for the later update when Ive received them pictures from Nelly.

And speakin of psp games, there's this one , "DISSIDIA : FINAL FANTASY" that caught my attention. Its a fighting game that have you take control of the star characters from most of the Final Fantasy series. About time this idea finally arrived.

Zidane, 2nd in line of my list of fav FF characters after Cloud.
